My guess is especially while humidity is higher even tho it’s hydrometer the humidity messes with it but I’ve never had a one I’ve only had some incredibly cheap ones that do the job fine

They could be fine I just did a batch of quail that for 6 of the eggs I did not turn them at all all 6 hatched 0 problems.

How do you measure your hatch rate? Do you measure it my the amount you put in including the clears? Do you not count the clears? Do you do it by how many go into lockdown? Just curious I’ve always done it by the amount I put in at first.

Hey @The Moonshiner I would love to see you try this incubator or the bigger version and see what type of hatch rates you can get with chickens my hatch rates are amazing with quail eggs and it’s one of the cheapest you can find...

Well another quail hatch right now using this day 6 28/31 developing 3 clears that we’re not fertile at all.

26 developing and 5 clears.

I’m incubating quail in my cheap incubator for the third time going good so far

I use this one as well I just have the 8 chicken 30 something quail egg size I hatch quail so that’s what I use but the quail turner does not work so I rigged up the chicken egg turner with tooth picks. My first hatch with it went with a 80% hatch rate my second hatch is underway going into...
