I have three little hens that are about 9/10 weeks old. When I came out this morning one of them was limping and not putting much weight on her one leg. She’s eating and drinking normally. She’s even trying to run after the other two littles, they normally don’t stray far from one another, but she can’t make it far distances. I have a video but wasn’t able to upload it so I added a photo below of how she’s holding her leg. I’m wondering if she somehow dislocated it or maybe just sprained it?

I also noticed while watching her that she’s pooping a milky white liquid. Now I’ve spiraled into thinking she has pullorum disease and is going to die and infect the rest of the flock. Obviously I’ve separated her but any insight into what she might be going through would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome To BYC

For video, upload to a platform like Youtube and provide us a link.

Can you pick her up and inspect the leg for any abrasions, bruising, etc. and feel of the leg for any unevenness, swelling, etc.?

Photos of the poop would be good to see.
