Change of plans

Zero to update, lol, yesterday I put the ladies in the chicken yard after they were done laying, and let the littles have the coop and run, they never came out. Phoebe, my blue orp and bottom of the pecking order still tidbits for them and will lay next to them in the coop. Maybe after work I'll leave her with them and see if she can draw them outside 🤷

When I integrated the Welp chicks last fall it was several weeks before they'd come out of the coop into the run.

I wasn't there to see it myself, but my 16yo reported that they made their first trip outside under Ludwig's supervision -- their big brother babysitter. :D

I'm just being impatient, lol, my three from last year ran in and out a bunch but were completely out by the end of the weekend, these little turds just romp in the coop, lol

I completely spaced updates on the trees, shame on me...I also added a rose bush today😉 1st apricot, 2nd fig, 3rd rose

Yes, baby rabbits are crazy-destructive when they get the chance.
Bunnies are very scarce around here, don't know if it's because of cats or what but you rarely see them. I never had issues with my rose plants at our old house, so I'm not to concerned. As far as the ladies go they can't reach the plants, the cages are wider than they look

Lots of things sprouting in the garden:woot:woot, I'll try and remember to get pics after work. And all the littles (coop mongers) are named now....Bella (ameraucana) Lilly (BLRW) Freya (favacauna) and Lagertha (FBCM). They are so strange, I was watching them yesterday after work and they were all gathered on the ledge in front of the nest boxes while Maribel was in there laying. 🤷 I guess that's their chicken tv🤣

She is so curious, it's precious! Out of all these breeds I didn't think it would be her, but I just adore her❤I think she may try and sleep with the big girls tonight, I'm going to go look after awhile
