    Toys and enrichment?

We have sandboxes and roost bars. This seems boring to me. Does anyone use parrot toys or any other fun things? They like to pick at my jewelry and buttons on my pants 😂 One even stole a nail I was holding (I got it back) so I’m thinking shiny things would be a hit. They don’t look at the mirror...

    DIY Holidays

Hey all, I am looking to fulfill a diy holiday requirement for the world's best duck owners. They have between 2 "lifers" and up to 24 more in various arrangements through a large property I was hoping to make some sort of non refrigerator based duck granola bar.. if such a thing exists. I also...

    Ducklings

Would it be safe for my ducklings to sleep in dog/cat beds? (new, not used) and have stuff like blankets and stuffed animals around their coop? I will have straw, hay and normal bedding underneath and then the beds ontop, is that okay for them?

Are indoor bird toys safe for chickens?

Hi! I’m trying to find ways for my closed run silkies to have some enrichment. Some blog posts online say that indoor bird toys are fine, some disagree. Anyone have any experience with this? Thoughts?

    Climbing Wall Fun for Chickens?

I'm considering adding a series of shelves or something as a climbing wall on the side of the coop. Do you think chickens would use and enjoy such a thing? Has anyone tried something like this?

    Chicken Toys

It’s been rainy a lot, and we have had a lot of workers coming to work on a fence and things, this stuff leads to us having to keep our birds in their run all day with nothing to do. What are some fun toys and things I can put in for them?

Not sure if this would go here, but seemed behavioral? What toys/items will help keep my chickens active?

My chickens will have to be in their coop/run most of the time, as we are in an area with lots of predators and we don't have a fenced yard. I want my chickens to be able to move around/have stuff to do, but I'm not sure what I could use. I'm planning on putting in sand for dustbathing, and a...

What are your ducks favorite treats and toys?

Hi! I’m new to ducklings so I’m figuring everything out for the first time. I was wondering what your ducklings/ducks favorite treats and toys are? Feed and water and hanging.

Just curious. How do you hang the feeder/water in the run? What should I use? I have a large dog kennel around the coop so i want to know what will work safely? In a way that it's easy to get at night when they're done eating. Also any toy recommendations that chickens love. I've tried the...

    Reccomended toys for budgies

My budgies have mirrors and bells and beads. They don't use their swing. I built them a little playhouse out of cardboard and they seem to enjoy it. A simple stick with a string or ribbon tied to it entertains then for long periods of time. They are starting to get more playful- I have a bit of...

How can I decorate my quail cages?

For a while now, my male quail cages stand completely empty. I have male button quails that are neighbors with my male coturnix, and all they do all day is run alongside the cage walls and try to peck each other (thankfully the male button quails get along with each other). So now I'm trying...

    Toys for quail???

So I have quail, and would getting parrot toys without the perch work to keep them happy? I know they can’t perch, but what toys are there for quail and does anyone have ideas? From all i’ve seen, they just like to play with string and roll things around, so would parrot toys(maybe slightly...
