Flounder fishing is pretty fun, but they’ve made the restrictions so strict in NC that it’s basically impossible to keep one. I think a lot of fish taste better than flounder. But they are fun to catch!

Trout are really good eating, but again; hard to come by here. You have to go out right after they stock, or they all get fished out pretty quick. We only catch one or two on a trip.

Stocking trout in PA is a huge deal, and has been for a long time! Check this out to learn a bit more if you are interested, I have even volunteered to go with the fish and boat commission!

The good news is that when the snow is melting it means that spring is coming! Our daffodils and paper whites are blooming here.
