As a new 10 month chicken owner but have the luxury of a seasoned chicken person across the road I agree with all of your post. Refreshing to read from someone else so I know I'm not weird
Oh My Goodness, talk about laughing out loud, my tummy hurts!
This article sure brought back a lot of memories. Her writing abilities are amazing, I could visualize her rooster having a ‘seizure’.
This informative article should be required reading for anyone interested in getting chickens. I had no idea how quickly my first chickens would decimate my Mom’s flower bed. I also thought a one foot decorative fence would keep the hens out of it. Had I read this article first I would have known better.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars ️️️️️
Funny and informative. The cockerel part surprised me starting out. I had no idea it was so difficult to sex chicks (honestly learned they don’t have obvious boy and girl parts while at the feed store) and did not expect to have a cockerel in my small flock. Whoops!
Not only was this article informative but her writing skills are great. Her experiences are hilarious and I'm glad she had no shame sharing because it was absolutely wonderful!
I'm planning on getting chickens soon and I decided to read this for some tips to keep in the back of my mind. I'll definitely be remembering these tips! And it was written excellently! Gave me quite a few laughs. Wonderful article!
