I'm processing an 8 month old cockerel, and he has a bright green spot on his leg. I've processed a dozen or so before and never saw this. Is it simply a bruise?

Awesome thanks Molpet. I'll give it a try.Sometimes soaking in salt water will pull the bruised green blood out. Same time and amount as brining.
