My friend has three back yard chicken and one suddenly went lame. She is eating and drinking fine but won’t walk and won’t lay. My friend has been checking for eggs or soft spots for water belly and so far her chicken feels normal.
-Today her chicken developed green-hued spots on both legs.
-She continues to eat and drink well, but poops are smelly and white.
-Has yet to lay an egg since 4/17 morning

Have you experienced anything like this?

What age is the hen? What is her feed? Can you send images of her vent area? Are any other hens showing similar symptoms?
Friend said ahe’s two weeks away from being a year old none of the other hens are showing symptoms. She’s the bottom of the pecking order.
She has them on Nature Wise: Hearty Hen.

I’m waiting to see if she can get a picture of her vent.

I would get her chicken vitamins asap. I don't know what it is honestly. But by reading a ton on here I know lack of nutrition can cause crazy things. Her being at the bottom of pecking order makes me think maybe she hasn't gotten all she needed all the time food wise.

A wide range of things can cause lameness. from vitamin deficiency to avian viruses.

If this chicken was frightened into a panic, she may have flown against a wall and badly bruised her legs. She could have gotten into insecticide or been exposed to some other petroleum distillate such as motor oil or transmission fluid. Lymphoid leucosis can make a chicken go suddenly lame at around this age.

I would treat the hen daily with B-complex, available where they sell human vitamins.
