I got the digital one a couple years ago and it's nice. I do wish it were bigger but its in perfect condition. I got it scratch and dent and I couldn't even find a single defect.

You better find out. That stuff is almost as handy as baling twine. I use it for all of my bird stuff. I can't imagine not using it during hatches or even during incubation.
Yeah I use shelf liner all the time in mine. Since there isn't much lip I don't want to chance knocking an egg out and the liner helps them stay put. It makes the egg turner roll the eggs gentler too.
I chose the clear ones so it wouldn't even reduce visibility at all.
It's been over three years now and they're still holding up great. I put them low enough that I can hook my lower fingers under the lip of the lid as soon as I lift it off with the hooks.
Just snapped these two

I just heard my alarm go off on my NR today, I forgot to unplug it during the 20 minute cooling period. I've had it go off a few other times before but I never looked at what temp it goes off at, anyway it was 88.5 on the readout when it started going off.
Yeah it required a lot of adjusting. I probably adjusted the temp at least once a day to get it to stay correct. I'd adjust it up in the morning, back down a bit around noon, then back up in the evening. It was a pain. I had to wrap it in towels too. For water I had to just use little cups in...
I also had the Janoel/Magicfly 12 incubator, it's a chinabator too. That was my very first incubator and it worked great for about a year, I turned out at least 5 or 6 100% hatches in it. Then it started to fluctuate like crazy and spiked to 112 one day. It killed everything inside. I don't know...
Yeah I always use shelf liner too. I use it the whole time though, I think it makes the turner roll even gentler. Then I can just lift the turner out at lockdown.
The shoestring water method is what I've been wanting to try too. I haven't needed to yet though since running it dry I can keep it...
I don't get why everyone is always so into the Brinseas. There's a lot better incubators out there for half the price. Mine are the maxi 2 and the mini advance. They are ok but I just don't like them. I don't like them anywhere near as much as the NR 360.
I love mine. It's better than the two Brinseas I have, imo. I like them but they're just not as stable or reliable. I've gotten some pretty big fluctuations in them, I don't like the design of the lid, and they take quite a while to get back up to temp. I run all of my incubators in the same...
