We have had turkeys in the past. They were the bronze breasted and they were great, however they couldn't breed.
We are looking to get turkeys again, what we would like is a breed that can populate and also be good a good size for eating. What would you recommend?
Hatching eggs on their sides or hatching them in a carton so the big end is up.
I personally had never heard of hatching them in a carton, so I have always hatched mine on their sides. Then you run into another chick rolling the unhatched eggs and such.
